To whom in may concern,
On Saturday, September 9 I, along with three friends, attended the 10 p.m. show. It was my first time to any comedy club, much less Harveys, and I was excited for the experience. Let me first say my dissapointment was not with the comedians - both were quite entertaining.
It was our service that has prompted me to write this letter. We were seated at table 48, and our drink orders were taken a few minutes later. We recieved our drinks a few minutes into the first act. All of my party finished our drinks and wanted to order more. This proved to be impossible. We attempted to flag down some of the waitresses walking by - most blatantly ignored us. The one woman who we caught told us she'd tell our waitress to come help us. It wasn't until halfway through the headliner (the second comedian) that our waitress - who believe was blond, but due to her lack of presence, cannot be sure - reappeared. By that time we had been annoyed out of wanting to order anything else.
I know it was a busy evening but I was really surprised at the total lack of service from our waitress. We would have happily bought more drinks if we had been given the chance, but she neglected our table for more than an hour. It definately put a damper on our night. I'm not sure if this is common service from your club but I would hope not - bad service can make a night out much more irritatting than necessary.
That's the rough draft. I'm not really sure how to end it because I don't want to resort to OMG! I never go there again u sux!!
