Dear **** Bed and Breakfast of Cecil County, Maryland...
Good service is reading the three paragraph e-mail I send you detailing the very specific questions I had about using your grounds and one of your suites for ceremony and honeymoon only, noting that I said that the website did not have the information I needed, answering my specific questions about using the grounds for ceremony and prep only (and perhaps a honeymoon suite), possibly being pleased that we had been referred to you by our already-booked reception site, and spelling my name correctly when you address me back.
Bad service, obviously, is what I received. My name misspelled, and a simple e-mail that was obviously a "basic form response" telling me that they'd be happy to host my ceremony and *reception*, that their prices and details were listed on the website (uhh, where do you think I got your e-mail address?), expressing pleasure that we'd be renting out their entire facility (which costs basically the same amount as OUR ENTIRE BUDGET), and that I should call them for wedding consultation and an appointment.
Apparently an e-mail, though blatantly offered on their website, is not the way to go with these people.
