To Whom It May Concern,
On June 13, 2006, 4 friends and I visited the Famous Dave’s BBQ in Greece, NY. This was our first time visiting your chain, and may very well be the last after the service that I have received from your company.
Our party ordered a small variety of food, including ribs and rib tips. To say the food was overcooked is an understatement. The ribs were chewy and tough. The rib tips were as dry and tough as beef jerky. I did not say anything that night because I thought that it might just have been the way your company does BBQ. After some thought I changed my mind about that and thought that someone should know. On Jun 15th, I sent an email to your guest relations via email and received two emails back, one confirming that the email had been received, and one from
There are currently over 6 barbeque restaurants in the Greater Rochester area. I was willing to try your restaurant, as I love barbeque and look to try new things when possible. I received terrible food on my one visit (it happens, and I was/am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt) for which I paid nearly $90. I spoke up about this bad food and in turn, received terrible service. I was blatantly ignored when I had a very real problem with my food. I thought maybe your company would be concerned with the name it was making for itself in Rochester, which is a full of barbeque “joints”. As of right now, the only name that Famous Dave’s has made for itself is one of blatant disregard for its patrons.
My first time visiting Famous Dave’s is quickly turning into my last time visiting Famous Dave’s. I do hope this issue can be properly addressed. I feel there is no reason for my guest that evening and myself to be ignored.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you regarding these issues.
And yes, I do intend on changing the name once I dig up his real name.
