My complaint is about Radio Shack. About three and a half weeks ago, I brought my laptop there to be repaired because I spilled juice on my keyboard. The only problem with the keyboard is that the control key was sticking. The guy who works there was very helpful and told me that they would just clean it and gave me an estimate of $118.75 and said it would most likely be less than that. He also told me it would take up to two weeks to get it back.

On Thursday, I got a call from the repair center at Radio Shack. The woman told me that the keyboard needed to be replaced and the new estimate was $196. I told her that I would call back later in the day to let them know if I wanted to go ahead with the repair. Three hours later I called back, gave them my reference number and let them know that I had decided to go ahead with it.

This morning, I got another call and the woman said that I hadn't called back to tell them what I want to be done with my computer. Again, I said to go ahead with the repair. I asked how long it would take and she told me that I should get my laptop back by next week.

By the time I get my laptop back, it will have been almost a month that it's been there. How did two weeks maximum and $119 turn into four weeks (it will be four weeks on Sunday) and $200?

I am considering writing Radio Shack's corporate office a letter explaining the horrible service I have received. But I wonder if it's worth it -- do you guys think any good will come from it?
