Man, when it rains, it pours...

 



We renewed our contract with you because you've given us great service in the last 2 years.  We hadn't planned on buying new phones but, stupidly we did.  We got those nice new phones with all the neat extras, including your new "VCast" service.  Great I thought - more stuff to play with.  Too bad it sucks living in a small town.

#1: It would have been nice if you had told us that we don't have that service in our area.
#2: It would have been nice if you had explained to us that the programs I always use, like my phone book and weather aps had to purchased thru VCast...which we don't have in our area so, with this phone, I'm SOL.

So, I'll be coming back down tomorrow to hand in my new phone and go back to my old one.  No, I'm not happy because my old phone is a tad beat up.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to note on your display with all the VCast enabled phones that the service isn't here.  That way folks won't have to go thru the headache of buying a phone like we did - only to discover that it doesn't work the way we need/like it to.
