they don't want to touch the case. they said that they have fought with EPCOR before for people (the newslady said she fought with them for a coworker in the past and was told that a leaky toilet could cost up to $65/day and that they'll just blame that, and though they can't prove that was the problem, you can't prove it wasn't either) and got no results whatsoever. (well...at first they were gung ho to do it and we even got the MLA's permission to have them on camera talking about how the water is only available from EPCOR and is "unregulated" therefore they can pull this shyte as often as they want etc, but then got a call back saying the above and that they'd changed their minds because it was a losing battle).
hiring a lawyer is going to cost more than paying the bill so that's not really a viable option. i'm out of ideas and it looks like we're just going to have to pay the fucker as much as it actually makes me physically ill.
