On December 10, I ordered a bicycling jersey from Bikesomewhere.com, as a zShop on Amazon.com (a zShop is an online business which sells its items through Amazon). The window of delivery was from the 16th to the 21st, which was fine. I received a tracking number from them for USPS. I tried tracking the package several times, but it was not showing any progress. On the 17th, I go to track the package and the USPS site says that the package was undeliverable. It shows that the package was never even shipped out!
I email the site, showing them the message I got from USPS, and asking about what was going on with my package. No response. I send a second email, retelling my story and asking for an "urgent response." They send me an automated support email telling me that my package is on its way, and gave me the tracking number again. There is nothing I hate more than generic emails. How hard is it to read an email? I email them back telling them to actually address my problems because I really want to know what is going on. At this point, I tell them that simply a refund would suffice if the package can't be shipped.
No response. I send another (email number FOUR!!) and flat out tell them that I need a response. STILL NO EMAIL. I go to Amazon.com and give them very negative feedback, stating that their customer service is "deplorable." WITHIN MINUTES, they reply to my feedback stating, "This customer gave us incorrect shipping information, hence the undeliverable status. It was shipped out on time, and the order has been issued a full refund."
Uh...what now? First of all, that shipping address is the same one I've used with Amazon.com for over a year, and I have never had a problem with it. Second of all, it was never shipped, and thirdly, I DIDN'T RECEIVE A REFUND!!! I emailed Amazon.com telling them everything. I am fed up emailing these people and getting no response. I don't have a Christmas present and I'm out 60 bucks. I wish I could just reach through the computer screen and bash their faces in!
