Every single time I purchase anything remotely technological, I end up setting off the dooralarm at Walmart. Every. Single. Time.

Today, I bought a new tripod for my camera and some frozen vegetables. After scouring my reciept, and checking both my bags thoroughly to ensure they were full of said vegetables, and noticing that I'm holding a very conspicuous two-foot long tripod box, the doorwoman takes ten minutes to write things down before I can go.

Aren't these things supposed to be swiped and turned off?
