Read this if you don't know about my issues with SBC.
I just got the phone number for support off their website...talked for 20 minutes to a guy who finally asks if it says "Dish TV" on my box...it says "Direct TV".
THEY GAVE THE WRONG FUCKING COMPANY'S NUMBER. OMFG.
I'm calling SBC directly now, and going to complain and get this fixed. NOW. bitches.
---
Oh fuck they've partnered with AT&T. More idiots to fuck up my entertainment.
---
Okay it's been 5 min, still haven't gotten a fucking person, just the robits.
---
THEY FUCKING HUNG UP ON ME BEFORE I COULD SAY ANYTHING.
---
Now I get a message saying they're unable to proccess my request...wtf. They say call customer service. I HATE YOU SBC!YAHOO!AT&T.
---
I give up, I've tried 8 different SBC numbers, no people will talk to me. Calling Direct TV now.
---
OMFG THEY TOLD ME TO CALL SBC. *stabs people*
Okay found a person, who gave me another phone number. She's transferring me....which disconnected and hung up.
---
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
Who wants to go shoot up SBC with me? Cmon, let's go.
EDIT:
Talked to two more people, on hold.
THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!!!
I typed up a lengthy letter and tried to email it, but it's too long. I cut it down to:
We set a reminder for a show we wanted to watch. The show was over and we couldn't change the channel, or even turn off the box because we don't have an "exit" button on our remote. We finally got it unplugged and plugged back in and can use it, but we were obviously given the wrong remote. I found a phone number for "Satellite TV Support" What that DOESN'T say is that it's for Dish. Not DirectTV, which is what the box says on it. I called DirectTV, who tried to transfer me to SBC. I finally got ahold of someone at SBC, after numerous messages saying you're "unable to process my request". After talking to two more people, nothing has been done. Send the correct remote. The account's phone number is ***. The address is *** Please send the correct remote to *** at that address. Please also call *** at: ***. This is a simple request, to have the correct equipment for the service provided to us.
