I emailed Spinning Wheel on August 28, wanting to know where my DVD was, or when it would be shipped.
In return, they simply sent me a link to the USPS shipping page, with a tracking nmuber, with no explaination other then go here to look it up. Not even a greeting or thank you or anything resembling an actual letter. When I tried to track my shipment, USPS did not have any information on the item.
On September 1, the tracking number showed it has left the processing facility in CA.
I just got the DVD yesterday. The system still shows it has just left the processing facility. According to the USPS, the tracking system reads this because Spinning Wheel never provided them with new information.
I consider it bad service when they actually take your money three weeks before they ship product. And I really consider bad service when you do not get any updates as to the status of your order, even when specifically requesting said updates.
Thank god these people only sell limited product (cycling related stuff), and I will hopefully never have to deal with them again.
And if my brother wants any more hard to find cycling DVDs for his birthday, he can get them himself!
