Ok, I think the mess is finally fixed

The bank re-pulled the "account adjustment" off my account yesterday, after I called twice to follow up.

I first called on Friday. The rep found they hadn't scanned in my faxed affadavit yet so he couldn't help, but he was VERY apologetic and understood my frustration, and I was very nice to him as I always am when calling phone reps, which seemed to have been a nice break for him that day.

The second guy I talked to, when I called back yesterday, after I recounted the story, said "Oh, no problem! They scanned it, I'll fix it now! Call back if it isn't gone by this time tomorrow!"

Sure enough, later that evening, it was gone.

Hopefully, I won't have to deal with that again. :p
