On Saturday July 30, 2005 the tie rods on my 2004 Dodge Dakota pulled apart. My wife was almost killed when she ended up in on-coming traffic. when she lost control of the steering. On Monday August 1, 2005 we had the truck was towed to Colonial Dodge for repair. Colonial Dodge then told my wife and me that we had sabotaged the vehicle ourselves, and would then be responsible for all repairs. This even though the truck has a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. Chrysler Customer Service Center, 1-800-992-1997, said they must back up there dealers so there is nothing we can do but pay for repairs. Since I am a long time employee, and come from a long Chrysler family, as my mother and father both worked for Chrysler for over 30 year each, I feel that Chrysler is treating their employees with total disregard. I am currently looking for any legal advice I can get to help me solve this problem. We have contacted Channel 4 news, Ruth to the Rescue, so hopefully someone can help us before someone dies from the same thing that happened to my wife.
