So, my school will let us take out extra loans for a new computer once during our time at school (turns out they only do that for the physical computer, not for anything else including protection plans, but that is a whole other issue). So, my computer has been giving me some issues, so I decide it is time to do it.
So I order the computer from Apple and bring in my receipt. When I find out they only cover the physical computer, I decide to cancel a couple extra things I ordered including Office. I do that and the system cancels the whole computer.
So I called in early last week and talk to someone at Apple. She tells me the whole computer cancelled, that she can't even see the order because it is cancelled, and that I'll have to reorder.
By this point, it has been a few days and it is time for me to pay off my credit card for the month, so I decide to do that and wait to reorder until I get the money from my school. Only, I wake up this morning to a message from my bank saying my account has been overdrawn. I check, and Apple has recharged me for the computer.
I called in, and the guy on the phone was able to cancel the order. But he offered no apology for the person who last week told me it was already cancelled. And I'm freaking out that this is going to cause a problem with my bank still even when the charge has been reversed.
