Which brings me to my point.
I started a new job at the end of March. So two and a half months in, I have now been late FOUR times because my bus either couldn't be bothered to turn up, or was over 10 minutes late. I have been stranded twice after work (I work in a garden centre in the middle of nowhere) because again, bus couldn't be bothered to turn up, or was late. One time I'd paid for a return ticket and the bus didn't show up at the end of my shift so I had to wait for the next bus, which turned out to be a completely different company so my return ticket was no good. I had to pay again, and lost money because of that.
Half the time the bus drivers have a go at you if you're paying with a tenner or a twenty. Most don't say please or thank you. Some drive like complete fucking maniacs and a few are really nice, and I feel sorry for them for working in such an anger-inducing service. Thank God for the nice ones though.
Oh yeah, before I end this: Do you think the bus drivers apologise for being late? Nope. Even just an explanation would be better (maybe there was an accident) because I wouldn't feel angry them. But nope. Nothing. It makes me so mad.
