Minor bad service/annoyance

A few weeks ago I ordered "Allegiant" by Veronica Roth. It was advertised that I could read it on the day of its release; october 22nd. Awesome! Had the whole night on the couch with a mug of tea and the book all planned, especially after a long day at work.

I come home after stopping by my sisters work first, which is right in the middle of downtown, then rushed home to park my bum on the couch for the rest of the evening, only to find out no book has been delivered. I log in on and see that it hasn't even been sent out yet! Angry and annoyed I call customer support and all they can tell me is they dont know why it hasn't been sent out yet, but that i'll have it tomorrow. Great, if i had known that, I could have taken an extra 10 minutes in town and bought the damn book in a store, and I could have read it tonight. Definitely not impressed with

Update: I didn't want to spend all day waiting around for the book, so I went online and checked to see if there was an ETA, only to find out it STILL hasn't been sent. I called them again, they tell me again they don't know what's wrong but they can transfer me to another department that can set it up to be sent out today. I told them to go ahead and cancel the order and I would just buy it in a store. I'm really annoyed right now >.<
