So Thanksgiving was nibbling on sides. Not going to complain when there are people who had nothing at all. It made a good time to reflect on what we do have.
Bad service is today. There was no place to keep the bad meat. It couldn't stay inside, and outside there is nowhere protected from animals, so we tossed the meat in the dumpster and rinsed the plastic. The smell was still in the plastic. It was terrible. This morning I went down to the grocery store customer service and opened the plastic bag I had the meat's plastic bag in and a couple reps right away looked sick. I explained what happened and showed the pictures.
But they won't refund it or anything without the rotten meat saying we could have still eaten it and the odor on the wrapping could be from overnight. There's no one it can smell that bad overnight with nothing in it.
So we bought meat that ended up being rotten, I think we have a strong case for it not being eaten (slimy pictures and the packaging smelling so bad the reps looked sick just from the plastic grocery bag opening up), but the store won't do anything about it because we didn't keep the meat laying around. $12 wasted.
