Whenever I go to Tim Horton's for breakfast, I usually get the Bagel B.E.L.T (bacon, egg, lettuce, cheese) with NO BACON, add mayo.
So for the love of all that is holy, why do they leave the lettuce and tomato off too?! Since I don't eat meat, I like a little roughage on my sammich.
I have tried different ways of explaining what I want and it doesn't seem to make a difference.
After this has happened a few times in a row at various locations, I decided to talk to the cashier the next time I had it. I explained to her that Tim's rarely ever gets my order right and described to her what I wanted on my bagel. I also asked her how I should order my food next time so they don't mess it up. She was a little huffy and rude... almost like she was in disbelief that Tim's is capable of screwing up my order. She explained to me that all I have to do is order a "bagel B.E.L.T with no bacon" and I will be fine.
I know in some restaurants, they have a button for an "egg and cheese B.E.L.T". (Sometimes they read me off the options: "Bacon and egg, sausage and egg, or egg and cheese?") So I don't understand how they keep messing up.
The next time I ordered a bagel B.E.L.T with no bacon, they left the lettuce and tomato off.
The time after that, they left the bacon on.
Yet, they always remember to add mayo!
Tim's is the only place to grab breakfast on and around my campus. Their breakfast sammiches are superior to the other chains, even without the lettuce and tomato. That's why I haven't gravitated towards other fast food restaurants when I needed a quick fix for breakfast.
