update to AT&T situation and apartment suckage

The tech came out, informed me that that DVR was a refurb and busted, and replaced it with a brand new one. He also gave me his number and his manager's email and told me if i had anymore problems then i should get up with one of them. So it worked out.

The carpet guys came out and replaced the padding today after leaving an industrial air mover (read as: fan) for four days. They bleached and cleaned the walls and painted it. If that's not good enough, they're talking about moving to a new unit. That worked out as well.
