I desperately needed a new bra and decided to get my boobies measured, which I've never done. I've always worn a 34B, and the size was seeming pretty big, so I thought getting it measured to get an accurate size would be a good idea.
I get to Macy's and find an employee. She didn't even have me take off my shirt, which from what other people have told me, is really weird.
She measures me, and says "You should buy a 36C"
She must have been able to tell from the look on my face that I was confused, because the 34B I was wearing was too BIG... She asked me what size I was wearing now, and I told her, and she got all shocked and appalled that I had been wearing such a wrong size, and she insisted "no, no, you need to be wearing a 36C".
I was at this point really confused, so I just went and got a bunch of bras in 34C, 36C, 34B and 36B and tried them all on, and they all seemed way too big. I didn't even like any of the bras there, so I just left without buying anything.
Then I went home and measured myself out to 34A.
A!!!!
I then went to Target, bought myself a nice A-cup bra, and have been comfortably wearing it for two days now.
Not the end of the world, I'm just confused at how that happened.
