I am contacting you to provide feedback on what I am forced to assume is a new marketing strategy being tested at the location listed above (since this has happened three times in a row at this location I can’t just call it a mistake anymore).
I understand in these hard times that companies must come up with new and innovative ways to make their products “edgier” in order to gain market share; however, I do not believe the new policy of serving hamburgers with the condiments, specifically ketchup, on the outside of the bun has been clearly thought through.
While the ketchup is a very pretty red color having it on the outside of the bun makes eating the burger quite a messy feat. This is especially true when using drive-thru and having no bathroom sink available. In addition the ketchup winds up coating the inside of the wrapper making disposal of the wrapper a messy process also.
In conclusion I hope that you will decide to end this experiment and go back to the old tried and true method of putting the ketchup inside the bun with the meat and other condiments.
Thank you for your time.
