Not horrifically bad, but pretty irritating service

The Dunkin' Donuts on the corner of Woodhaven Blvd. and Jamaica Ave. in Queens (I think that neighborhood is technically Woodhaven proper?), right under the J train, is staffed by people who don't listen.

Every. Single. Time. I go in there (which, honestly, is a lot less frequently since I realized they do this every time), whatever drink I order, I ask for it with skim milk and without whipped cream.

Every single time they repeat it back to me, twice, without mentioning skim milk or whipped cream.

Every single time I have to repeat myself, twice, saying I want skim milk and no whip.

And then, if I don't WATCH THEM MAKE THE DRINK and FOLLOW THE EMPLOYEE DOWN THE COUNTER to STOP HIM OR HER FROM USING WHOLE MILK, I get a drink with whole milk and whipped cream.

One of the employees in particular will still put the caramel drizzle in even after I stop him from using whipped cream.

So I end up with something so rich it turns my stomach to drink it. :(

I would go elsewhere but this is the closest DD to both the subway and to my job. I'd have to add like 20-30 minutes to my commute to go elsewhere. Ugh.

I'm probably not going to say anything to the management, as they're often the ones who do this! I just avoid going there as much as I can.

Still pretty annoying, though.

ETA: As per the advice here and the possibility of coupons for delicious caffeinated noms and sugary fattening donutty noms, I sent them a comment on their contact page. I was very polite and nice, of course, and I basically outlined what I have here, including that this is the closest location to the subway I take to work, and that I would prefer not to go out of my way to use another location. Here's hoping they retrain the staff--I've witnessed other customers askin for drinks remade more than once. One woman in particular likes to throw total hissy fits--while I don't approve of her methods, I completely understand her frustration!

Thanks for all the commiseration, ladies and gents and others. ^^;
