Quick Note to complain

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday for my normal grocery run. No big deal right?

I'm standing in line at the register with my cart full of groceries for about 15 minutes, watching the rude people in front of me and generally being bored, but otherwise fine.

I happen to look up and see the following sign:

ALL Registers Open
Saturday 10am - 10pm
Sunday 10am- 10pm

Hmmmm?  I take a look around and see about 11 of the 26 available registers are actually open.  My basic math skills tell me that 11 /= 26.   Not having anything else to do, since I'm stuck in line anyway, I wander over to the supervisor on duty and ask him why they have a sign that says they will have all registers open and aren't actually following it.

Said supervisor fumbles for a bit, mumbles something about staffing. Great, I understand staffing, after all I work in a call center. But the problem is that they don't have any if/and/buts in the sign, it just says ALL, in bright blue and white letters. I tell they guy, in no uncertain terms, if you are going to advertise, prominently, on every register that you will have all your registers open on those days at those hours, then DO it. If not, take down the sign, and no-one will care.
