Very important, huh?

I haven't posted to this board in a long time; either service has gotten better, or I've mellowed out over the years. Anyway, in the process of cleaning out my cell phone voice mail, there were several messages from Chase Bank, each of which stated "it is very important that you return our call, as it regards an urgent business matter."

I got around to calling them back today, and the person who answered was completely confused about why I was calling (returning THEIR call), so I called back and got somebody else, who was equally befuddled, and said "your account is current at this time." OK, I know that, but the fact remains: You guys called me, eleven times, between September 2009 and March 2010, saying it was important.

In the future, don't call me if you don't want me to call you back. Really, now. Oh, and I did tell them that the best way to get a hold of me is e-mail (since I don't check my voice mail all that often), but if they do want to leave me a voice mail, at least say what it's regarding so I can "triage" the call somewhat. Vaguely stating it's urgent and important doesn't necessarily make it so.
