The receptionists were very helpful in getting my insurance transferred over to the clinic (insurance suck here: They put the wrong PCP on my husbands ins card, which led to the wrong PCP being put on mine.) and after having me fill out the normal paperwork for a new patient sent me to the back waiting room for an available doctor.
They explained that it is custom on saturdays, that if they have no scheduled appts, they do usually close early on saturdays. However I am welcome to come in any time they are open if I need to see a doctor. Knowing that makes all the differance. As for the service: I have to rave for a moment.
OMG I can't begin to tell you what a huge difference this clinic is over the previous one. The nurses are just as nice and friendly as before, but here even the doctors actually listen to you. After actually sitting down and talking to me, and a brief but thorough examination, the doctor sent me on my way feeling completely at ease. Hubby was right and this is a FANTASTIC clinic, even better than I had thought.
Patient relations and I are still playing telephone tag over my Saturday call. I will be very happy to tell them what a wonderful clinic they have, despite my earlier confusion about operating hours.
