I do not usually have issues with my favored pharmacy, but that changed tonight. Went in to drop off a monthly script, handed over my prescript card,(which they hold while your script is being filled), and I bopped off to do the usual grocery shopping. I'd gotten everything I needed and they still hadn't called my name, so back I went to see if it was ready.
The reason they had not called my name? The idiots had lost my prescript card, and could not even find my meds. I wasn't overly happy but I just asked them to keep looking, and eventually they came back to me with a lovely little gem.
They had given my card and meds to a completely different person, and said person was now roughly an hour away and gaining. They knew who it was, they had called them, but apparently the person in question was throwing a fit at having to return to the store with my card/meds. Instead of coming back, or letting me meet them where they were, the woman wanted to mail my damned things back to me. The pharmacy didn't seem to give a damn, and told me it wasn't their fault, and that it was closing time. That's pretty much when I lost it , they got apologetic, and finally convinced the woman in question to bring everything back.
The thing that pissed me off the most was that they didn't seem t understand why I was pissed....never mind the fact that I actually need those pills to function, but the card has my name, address, birth date, social sec #, and a couple of other things that i would rather not have a complete stranger know.
I finally got everything back...but I will be damned before I ever give my business to that pharmacy again.
