Snail Slow

There's an Italian restaurant near my house that my family and I have been going to for as long as I can remember (I'm 20 now). Anyway, my mom and I decided to go there earlier this week because I was craving their salad. So we are seated, waitress takes our drink orders, brings them to us, and we order. My mom and I decided to split a house salad and a chicken veggie pizza. They aren't very busy, maybe 4 tables other than us that were waiting on salads or food (this is important). So 5 minutes go by, then 10, then 15. I notice other tables getting their salads that had ordered around the same time as us or a little after. Then 20 minutes comes and goes. I finally flag down the waitress and inform her that we were wondering about our salads. She says "oh, they must have forgotten to make them", heads in the back, and brings them to us 3 minutes later. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to throw some lettuce and cheese in a bowl and put some dressing on the side.

After about 10 more minutes our pizza comes out and isn't as hot as it usually is but still hot enough. We eat, my mom runs out of her soda, and the waitress never comes by to see how our food is or if we need any refills. She wasn't very friendly at all and didn't seem to care one bit that our service was so slow. I would've completely understood if they were super busy but there was barely anyone there.

We still left a tip, just not the usual 15%+. She really didn't do much other than take our order and bring our food and bill. The bussers brought us more drinks and everything. Usually service is pretty great there so we were quite disappointed and slightly annoyed that it took us over an hour to get out of there.
