Here's the situation, I was a year 11 student who spent Wednesdays at a school other then my usual school doing a year 12 VET computer animation course that my main school didn't offer. That's fine and it's a normal option offered by [my usual school] and [other school]. I was also doing a different year 12 computer course at [my usual school] and had a double lesson on Wednesdays.
Now, this shouldn't have been a problem as like I said, this is a normal option offered to all students. However the teacher for the course I was doing at [my usual school] was a Bitch from Hell. BFH refuses to inform me of what work I had missed on the Wednesday and continually held exams on the Wednesday. Now the animation course had a strict rule of "miss three classes and you're out" and [my usual school]'s rule was that if a student in a class study's a VET course and therefore is unable to attend a lesson at [my usual school] then no exams are to take place on the day said student is absent and the teacher must assign work in advance of the missed lesson to be completed in the student's free time.
BFH did none of this and took great pleasure in calling me up in front of the class to ask questions about the Wednesday's work which she knew I could not POSIBABLY answer. After failing the second exam in a row due to her refusing to tell me the work required of the class (by this time we're a month into the first term and I've made six formal complants to the head of year 12 - who has repeatedly told BFH that she CANNOT do what she's doing) the stress finally gets to me and I burst into tears and the following conversation occurs.
BFH: Stop crying! You're making a fool of yourself!
Me: *angrily, though still in tears and on the edge of having an asthma attack* Look! I'm doing my bloody best here! You have failed me twice now because you refuse to give me the work I'm missing.
BFH: *smirking* Well if you can not keep up with the class then I suggest you either quit wasting your time outside of school and attend all your classes here or you can leave my class. You clearly can't handle a year 12 class.
Me: *glares* For your infomation, my VET class is a year 12 class and I am doing extremely well in it. The reason I can't keep up with this class is because you are too bloody lazy to follow the rules and do your job. And since you have made it so clear that you will not treat me with respect if I continue to study both classes then I will make the choice you've suggested.
BFH: *thinks she's won* *smirk* Go and sit down then.
Me: *shakes head* You misunderstand me. I'm leaving. *walks over to my desk and starts packing up*
BFH: YOU CAN'T LEAVE!
Me: *calming down* Well [BFH] that was the choice you gave me less then five minutes ago. I'm sorry but you are wasting my time and yours with this stupid chip you have on your shoulder and I'm not putting up with it anymore. Unless you can assure me that you will begin treating me fairly starting now I'm going straight to [Head of Year 12] and informing her that I cannot continue in this class due to your treatment of me.
BFH: YOU CAN NOT LEAVE! IF YOU LEAVE I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOU IN A CLASS OF MINE EVER AGAIN.
Me: *calmly* Frankly, I don't want to be in a class of yours. I'll take that to mean you have no intention of treating me fairly. Good afternoon then. *turns to the rest of the class* I apologise for the interruption everyone. Good luck with the rest of the year. *walks out*
BFH: GET BACK HERE THIS SECOND YOU LITTLE BITCH! YOU CANNOT WALK OUT ON MY CLASS!
Me: *turns* I'm sorry, but I have an appointment with [Head of Year 12] to make. And please don't swear at me in the hallway.
End result? She denyed everything, I produced six other students who backed me up, I was removed from her class. I also passed my VET course with flying colours and will be taking my final year at another school due to my unwillingness to be taught by BFH.
