Hope You Don't Get Commision...

Behind a cut in case anyone is squirly about bra talk.

I have so many stories of poor customer service, but I think the most damaging by far was at Victoria's Secret...twice! I went to Victoria's Secret in my hometown, and was looking for a convertible bra in 34DD. Its not a common size, and its hard to find normal bras let alone convertibles, but I had some hope. A twiggy looking sales clerk walked up to me, and asked politely if she could help me find anything. So I told her what I was looking for and she started laughing at me. Lauging! It took me a second to process what she was laughing about, then she finally said, "No seriously, what are you looking for?" I repeated myself, stating I needed a 34DD in a convertible bra. Her face sort of fell and she goes, "You're not serios, there is no way you're a 34DD." I've been a 34DD since junior year of high school, at this point I'm like 21. She points towards the strapeless section and finds me the ugliest thing I've ever seen, which is apparently the only strapeless they have. I had to buy it because I needed a strapless bra...

I didn't shop at VS for a couple years after that. I was married and we were taking a belated honeymoon, and the mall we were at only had a VS, no Frederick's. So, I went in, sort of limped in actually. I found the most adorable corset top, it was lacy pink and black, perfect really. First, nobody even offered to help me. There were more than enough availabe clerks. I finally pulled a girl aside and asked if they had that particular corset in a 34DD. She just stared at me for a second then said, "Um, no." She started to walk away without even asking if she could help me find anything else. So I initiated, and asked if she had anything similiar, basically not a teddy (I wanted something to support the girls dammit!). She sort of let out a giggle, and said, "Yeah, ummm, all the lingerie we have like that only goes up to  C-cup." Then, she gave me a confused stared, and, with laughter in her voice, asked, "Are you sure your a 34DD."

I, on my own, found a lacy black bra, and matching thong, which we bought, even though I was hesitant to give that store any of my money. When we got back from vacation I went and got measured somewhere, for my own sanity, and sure enough, 34DD. Well, sort of 35, but since they don't make that size ya 34 works.
