blahMy mom and I were at the mall today, and on our way out, she decides to stop in Lane Bryant. My mom isn't a big woman at all, she's just very well endowed and has trouble shopping for bras. She discovered last year that Lane Bryant actually carries her bra size, and has been getting her bras there ever since without any trouble.
So we go into the store, and my mom goes to the bra rack. She couldn't find her size, so she finds an employee to see if she can order through the store. The conversation goes as follows:
Mom: May I ask you a question?
Employee: You don't look like you shop in here.
Mom: Excuse me? I've bought things here before.
Employee: Yeah right! Your kind doesn't belong in here! Why don't you go to another store and leave us big girls alone?
My mom promptly turned around and left without saying a word. I was very angry and thought we should've told a manager or something, because that was beyond rude.
