Fun service at Wal-Mart

Letter I just sent off to Wal-Mart corp since I couldn't get anything addressed in store today.

Several issues from a visit today 4/5/9 ~5pm, I will address by issue and not the timeline of events. 

Me and my girlfriend were there shopping for a sun tea jar and some misc groceries.  We walked in, there was a display full of sun tea jars right to the left of the entrance, we picked one up.  When we were checking out in the 20 items or less lane (2 I believe, but I can tell you where it is if someone wants to call me) the sun tea jar scanned and said it was not in the system.  The woman at the register asked if we still wanted it and I said yes and she said go get her another one.  So, I ran across the store (past 20+ cash registers, past the pharmacy department) to get another one.  The display said $6 and all the sun tea jars were on a big shelf by themselves.  I ran back with the replacement one and thought to myself that the first one had scanned but was not in the system so that was what this was going to be too.  I got back and now there were about 5 people in line behind Kim.  I gave the new sun jar to the register worker, same does not scan, she asked if we still wanted it and Kim said yes (according to Kim at this point she roller her eyes at us) and we waited and waited and waited for a supervisor to come up.  Her name was Deborah, she said if it was not in the system nothing they could do and they were going to have to take down the whole display.  I said "really, you can't just charge us $6 till you guys figure out what's wrong" she said no and walked away.  I went to the customer service, but as always, there was a line and Kim was hurting at this point (see story below).  After leaving we went to Dollar General and got a jar that looked like the $6 one your store wouldn't sell us for $3.

Part 2 - while searching for tortillas Kim slipped on some sort of meat product in aisle 2 on the floor and went down hard.  After making sure she was ok, I looked around for someone to clean it up and could not find anyone anywhere working aisles.  I finally went to the bakery and told them and they did something.  Kim is not the suing type, but would like to point out that if she had been an older lady she would have broken a hip, as it is she's just bruised and got black stuff on her clothes.

I really attempt to keep my cool and keep these comments constructive, but I have to admit this particular visit made me extremely angry.  I feel my time was wasted, my girlfriend hurt, and my intelligence insulted by a supervisor who after waiting 8 minutes for just made up that there was nothing she could do, gave up and wandered off.  Charge us $6 for a head of lettuce, call someone and enter it into the system, etc.

As a sidenote: I've reported this twice now, you've got an aisle labeled "wine", there is no wine there, this is Tennessee, we don't allow wine sales in grocery stores.  It's been there since the store opened.  Wine coolers are not wine.

For those not wanting to read - girlfriend slipped and hurt herself, spent minutes looking for someone so the next person would not get hurt to clean it up, big shelf display of product that they couldn't locate in their system, 8 minute wait for supervisor while being the bad-guys holding up the line with an eye-rolling cashier, cashier having me run across the store to get another with the same barcode that was not in the system, supervisor who said they were going to have to take down the display since it wasn't in their system and nothing they could do, and a store that's been open over a year with mislabeled aisles.
