II don't normally do this, but the situation seems to call for it.

I made an order in September of last year for a pair of dread falls from Jadeddreads.com. He never sent the order out, and never changed it from Pending, even though I paid for the item the same day. I didn't mind at first because dread falls are a custom item that need to be hand made, and the website even said that the turnaround time for them was about 6 weeks. I had no problem with this and understood it perfectly when I made my order. Two months later I thought it would be a good time to ask.

Now it appears all his emails are bouncing, and he's been ignoring me and/or lying to me for 6 months about the status of my order. He told me several times that my dread falls were ready or that they would be in a few days, and to just wait, and he has promised time and again to get it sorted out or at the very least get me a refund, which he never did.

If any of you are considering buying from Jaded Dreads, don't. I don't normally do this, but I got seriously screwed over. I've been polite for six months; I'd be happy with a real response. But "we'll let you know in a couple of days" and not even apologizing, eventually turning into shit is really, really old.

Am I the only one who's been fucked over?

What the hell can I do? Turnaround time = 6 weeks, which is coincidentally the exact amount of time before I can't do a chargeback anymore. So that's not an option. All emails have bounced. Yet the website is still accepting payments on new orders! Imagine that.

Also, I ordered a pair of goggles from him about 5 months ago, which I did get, and are brilliant. So he's not all bad, but from what I've heard from other people they're still taking (e.g. charging) orders and not sending them out to anybody. NOT COOL.

I don't know if this is allowed, but it's worth a shot.

Please let me know? You keep telling me you'll check and then I hear nothing back for months. Can I just have my money back? At this point it's been so long. I'm really sorry but I've been asking for an update for months and I've been waiting and waiting for a month at a time and for no reply.. you have all my information... I've been told it'll be "a couple of days" a ton of times... and I'm moving out and if they do finally get sent here they need to come before I leave.

Please don't leave me hanging. Please.

You guys told me via myspace that the order was ready and that I'd get tracking in 2-3 days. That was 3 weeks ago. I've sent 3 messages since. No responses at all.

I don't get it. I haven't been pushy or mean at all. I could understand you guys ignoring me if I were bitchy or threatened you or something but I haven't. I like your goggles and stuff, and I was going to get another pair of those, but you have been ignoring me about the dreads I ordered six months ago so I am hesitant to.

Anyway, I paid for this item a long time ago. If the falls aren't made by now, please just refund me my money or at the very least let me know what's going on. I'm sure the economy crisis is hitting you as hard as it is me... I can't afford to throw away money on something I'm never going to get.

I ordered a pair of pants from Phattpants.com a year ago. The same thing happened; I paid, and he never sent my pants. I sent numerous emails, all asking him just for an update.

Please don't screw me over. I run an online business too. There's no reason to be ignoring me. It just isn't right.

I've been trying to email your email address, but now it's getting sent back as failed, as if the address doesn't exist.

I'm really sorry, but it's been months and months and months and you guys keep telling me you'll let me know "in a couple of days" or that they're ready and being shipped or were shipped and nothing has been shipped and you won't give me my money back.

What the heck else can I do?

Note that my name isn't Archie Bunker, it's just the name used on my email account (although the Samantha is correct), and that I added Xs in certain places for privacy. Some of the emails look like clones but that's because this discourse happened both through his website and also through Myspace, where I pasted other conversations from emails to save myself time.

It is looking to me like he'll accept payments/orders but won't atually make or send the item. It's messed up!! I'm out 81 dollars for no good reason.

His whois for his domain doesn't have a phone number or anything. Ridiculous.
