Yesterday I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and tire rotation that were overdue. Honestly I don't know anything about cars, so getting car things done by myself is a little scary for me. Everything seemed fine until they discovered rust in my radiator. After seeing how gross it was and concluding it probably wasn't good, I agreed to get it flushed, even though I'm broke right now.

Later that evening while driving home from the bar, my car overheated. Confused, I had my dad check things out this morning.

Not only was there NO FLUID in the radiator, all the rust was still in there! Also there wasn't enough of some other fluid (I forgot what.) I'm livid that they didn't perform the services that I paid them for. We're going back in tomorrow to get a REAL flush in addition to another oil change.


EDIT: Earlier today I returned with my father and spoke with the assistant manager. After explaining things, showing him my radiator, and requesting a refund, he walked away without a word. Fifteen minutes later we found out he had left the premises.

We got the number for the regional manager and called him. He was completely unapologetic about the entire thing and not interested in hearing about the nonexistent customer service we got from the assistant manager. He had the gall to suggest that I needed a new radiator. After a tedious and infuriating conversation he agreed to a refund, but only for the radiator flush and not the oil change. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB.
