Post Office bad service, yet again

Last year I had almost the same issue with the post office, so here we go again. On March 9 I ordered a product from Amazon.com. I moved last year, unfortunately I didn't realize that Amazon still had my old address on file and the item was shipped there. That was 100% my fault and I accept this as my fault. HOWEVER. The post office seems to be paralyzed by the fact that I have moved 10 whole miles from my previous address. Again, this was shipped on March 9th. Do I have it yet ? Nope. Here is the tracking info :

Anybody else wonder why the post office can't make a profit ???? The problem is that I can't get a refund for the product until it's returned to the original vendor, and the post office just seems to be playing hot potato with it, sending it around the countryside. I've gone to the USPS website twice and filed a complaint but obviously it didn't do anything.
