Why are so many professors at my school so anti-technology? Had one last semester who made those with computers sit in the back and spent a good half hour lecturing us on why note taking on computers were a bad idea (and a similar lecture has been given by other professors). Had another who did not allow computers at all, but I was able to work things out with her since I get disability services, and that is one of my accommodations.

This semester, though, I have one professor who is refusing to work with me. She is insisting that I need a note taker instead, even though both I and the disabilities center have explained to her that because of my auditory learning disability I need to take notes by computer in order to retain the information.

And because I'm a law student, I can't switch professors. And she is insisting that by allowing a note taker, she is fulfilling her requirements.

Not really sure what to do at this point.
