Financial Aid Frustration

I'm sure I'm in the wrong in several places here, but I'm just so frustrated right now and I feel things SHOULD have been handled better.

I get Financial Aid for school. This is my last semester of available aid from the Pell Grant per the new 6 year limit. This isn't a problem as I graduate with two BAs this semester. I only needed two classes to graduate, so I tried to enroll for part time aid when I filled out my FAFSA, but it turns out that you can't do that anymore. I tried to call the Aid office at my school to ask about it and they told me the school would figure it out.

I got my award information and it was for significantly less than I normally get, so I assumed that they had determined I was only eligible for part time aid. (Normally, I get enough to pay for both classes and books. This time I barely got enough to just cover the classes and school fees, especially with the tuition increase this year.)

Now the Post Office is giving bad service.

The package my last post talked about has not yet arrived.

First, even though I had my mail held, they attempted to deliver it on the 23rd. Because I was not there to sign for it, they supposedly left a note. Except they didn't. I went online to check the status and discovered this. So I scheduled a redelivery for yesterday, only it never came then. And no note either. And the mail has come and gone today.

I'm starting to get really frustrated. I want my dresses. One of them I was going to wear to a job interview on Thursday.

Oh frontier. I hate you.
I called on the 12th to order Internet. I got signed up, they said I'd have modem in a couple of days.

I never got it. I waited until the following Monday, 19th and called back. Oh they never sent my modem. Awesome. The guy puts my order in the system, gives me a $25 credit, and says that ill have my modem Wednesday.

Sure enough, I get home Wednesday and its waiting on me. I attempt to install it, but when I get to the email address and password it was asking for, I couldn't get what I had written down to work. I call tech support and they tell me what it is. Still a no go. I ended up getting sick and didn't mess with it until today...and today I had a second modem waiting for me when I got home. o_O

I call tech support again and the guy tells me my account is suspended. Wtf. He connects me to customer service and the woman tells me, oh you called on the 21st and said the name on your account was wrong and canceled it. Bwhuh? Ok.

I told her that I never called on the 21st. I didn't get my equipment til the 22nd. I tell her about the phone call Monday and she says the other rep never put my credit in.

She sets up a new account and calls a tech to see if they can turn my Internet on tonight. If I don't have it working when I get home, I can't call back until Thursday and when I call, ill have to set up a support ticket.

I'm not holding my breath.

Mild Ad Suck

So am I right to be mildly annoyed when a company I ordered from sends me an advert to my email when they didn't even send me a confirmation email or shipping email for my original order? Or even responded to my emails (more on that in a sec)?
The whole company turned out to be a bit WTFish. The site I ordered from was lineofewelry.com while the jeweler's main site is nameofjeweler.com (apparently each of his lines has it's own separate site?). But while the jeweler is US based (and all pricing on the site is in USDs) all contacts on the lineofjewelry site were to other countries!  I had to hunt down the original site (I had found xyzjewelry through google, not the original nameofjeweler site) to find the US CS line I could call after not getting a response from the email contacts provided at xyz and they found my order.
So thumbs up for the phone service folks who were nice! But not so much for the email service and confusing contacts and navigation.
IDK guys? Thoughts?
