Schwann's Rant and TriCare Update

Dear Schwann's man,

Banging on my door like the cops are trying to break it down, is not funny. Then giving me a "hard sell" sales pitch without apologizing, just makes me irritated with you. When I tell you that I will be placing an order online at a later date, exclaiming quite loudly (practically yelling in my face), "You just got paid three days ago! Why can't you order now?! You can't possibly be broke!" Just makes me hate you, and will ensure that I will forever be placing orders online just to fuck you out of your commission.

I will be filing a complaint later, because oooooooh, look at that! You gave me your little sheet with your name and cell phone number on it. How convenient!

I'm growing to hate my school

So, a continuation of this debacle. 

I have found an apartment and moved out of the dorms, my new place is freaking amazing with the best landlord ever.  I informed the school that I have moved out and that an ADA complaint has been filed against them for failure to move me into an appropriate room despite having my condition documented no less than three times.  The first wasn't specific enough, okay.  Second time, still not specific enough and not from the diagnosing doctor.  I got the exact wording they wanted, tracked down my doctor who had left the practice, and had a third confirmation was sent off.  And they did nothing.  I was done, I refused to be jerked around any longer.

So the school is informed that they have been reported and I want a refund for my dorm fees, at least the time I will not be there, though I would like a full refund.  At the end of the day I go out to my car to go home and find a ticket from campus security for parking in the 15 minute area longer than permitted.  Now, I will admit I did this, but so did at least five other cars and not a single one of them was ticketed.  Moreover, the ticket contains false information.  It states that I was first observed in the spot at 8:08, I wasn't on campus at that time.  I did not arrive until 8:15 at the earliest.  The other unticketed cars were present when I arrived and when I left, two of them were still present this morning when I arrived.  I was singled out and that is not okay.  If everyone had been ticketed I would have no problem, I was in violation, it's the being singled out I have an issue with as well as the false information present.  Moreover, I had been parking in that spot for weeks while I lived in the dorm.  I'm not kidding, I parked in the same spot for three weeks solid without a single ticket.  The timing is way too convenient.  I'm sure I can't prove it was retaliation, but I really feel it was.

I'm currently appealing the ticket, because if you're going to enforce it with me then you have to enforce it with everyone. I took pictures of the other unticketed cars both last night and this morning in case I need further evidence that I was being singled out.  When I went and got the appeal form the security guard very snippily told me that I couldn't know for sure that I was singled out, that other students could have removed the tickets before I got there, but if that's the case then they will have records of the other tickets to prove they were enforcing for everyone.  I don't really expect to win my appeal, I was in violation after all, but I'm still pissed about being the only one ticketed.  Also, I'd like people's opinion of what I put on the appeal form, does it have an angry tone or is it appropriate?

"My car was singled out and the ticket contains false information.  There were at least four, I believe five, other cars in violation around me, none with tickets.  They were there when I arrived at 8:15, the ticket states I was first observed at 8:08, and were there when I left.  Two were still present the next morning, still without tickets.  I have a problem with the failure to ticket everyone and the incorrect time listed on the ticket.  I can provide photographic evidence if needed."
Dear Appliance Repair Company:

When your repairman shows up at my house at 10 am, tells me a part needs replacing, that he does not have the part on his truck but it will be put in as an emergency order and express mailed to my house from the appliance company to arrive the next day so this can be fixed ASAP, well I kind of expect it to arrive the next day.

So when I check the following day to find out that FedEx, UPS, and the USPS have all come to my apartment building for the day and there is no package, then I will be calling to find out where it is.  And when I find out that it wasn't ordered by you until today, expect me to be annoyed about it.  Especially since a) it was a computerized order that went straight into the system in front of me when your tech put it in, b) I was told it would be an emergency and shipped next day and c) I have an appointment set up for you to come on Saturday to install said part, which was based on the fact it was supposed to be here today llike you said it would.

When I ask you why it was not ordered until today, telling me it was not in stock does not answer my question.  I get that it was not in stock and it had to come from the company.  But when your technician has a service call at 10 am, puts an order in then and there, and then the part does not get ordered until the next day, 24 hours later, I will ask why.  Finally telling me you don't know why it wasn't ordered the same day is at least an honest answer, even if it is not a satisfying one.

Just hoping the part comes early tommorrow morning so we can still keep this appointment as scheduled.

ETA:  Arrived home and there was a message on the machine asking me to call the repair company to reschedule.  When I asked why, I was told that it was because the part was not in.  Was told that if it came in before 9 am, I could keep my appointment, but if it came in after 9am I would have to reschedule.  I asked about the afternoon appointment I had been promised if this happened and was told they had no appointments in the afternoon tomorrow and couldn't fit me into the schedule, regardless of what I had been told.  Apparently there is nothing they can do, even though I was told it would be considered an emergency repair and the part was not ordered when it should have been by them.  I was asked if I wanted to reschedule now and told them I would wait to see if it arrived first thing tommorrow, and if not, would reschedule tommorrow.  Hoping I don't have to do that, but if I do for a Monday appointment if I do have to reschedule.

internet rage

okay, we have virgin media internet. it's SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST~ because it's fibre optic and we have a 'super hub' and it's the fastest one you can get, the 100mb one.
