So I moved and got a new job in the last month. New job keeps met super busy and I FINALLY got to go out last night as I got out early and had today off...yay! So I did, and ended up sleeping...not at home. Woke up this morning and left "his" house in last night's clothes, swung by the Walgreens by the new place for cigs and Red Bull. I am slightly acquainted with the new cashiers here, but don't know them well enough for what happened next. Yes, my hair was a mess, my clothes were wrinkled from being crumpled and flung to the floor, and I had dark circles under my eyes. However, this does not give you, Walgreens cashier that is practically a stranger, call to loudly announce "Looks like we have a walk of shame here!". At least five people turned to look that I saw, and I was humiliated. I'm definitely going to speak to a manager. It's not just the embarassment factor but also the fact that it very easily could not have been "TWOS". I could have just spent the night in a hospital, pulled an all night cram session, comforted a friend who had something bad happen, etc. I'm thankful it was what he thought it was, but hate to think he would make a comment like that to a person who just had a really rough night and didn't need that at the moment!
