(no subject)

I went to get gas the other day and used my debit card. I only put in $10 because I don't have much money left in my account. The $10 would get me to pay day.

I finish pumping the gas and get back into my car. Just as I'm about to drive away, there's a loud pounding on my roof. I jump about ten feet and look out my window to see one of the gas station employees standing there, arms crossed, and signaling me to roll down my window. I did.

He practically screamed, "We have a $15 minimum on ALL credit or debit card purchases!"

I was a bit taken aback by that, not only because of how rude he said it, but because there weren't any signs posted anywhere stating the rule. I told him that. He rolled his eyes and said, "I don't care if it's posted or not. It's our rule. If you're going to shop here, you have to follow our rules. So if you feel like you want to come back here and use your debit card, you HAVE to spend at least $15. Understand?"

I told him I understood very clearly, and that I would not be returning to that station.
