Nick Cave > Wanted Man

Not so much bad service than a general, "Who raised you?"

I have my septum pierced and stretched. I get comments fairly often, but they sorta come along with having a big ol' spiky ring through your nose. Whatever; I'm used to it, and people are usually more inquisitive than rude. Last night, however, someone crossed the line big time.

I was at the Phills game, headed to the little girls room by myself. A guy in full CBP uniform, maybe 55-60, came out from an employees-only area. He was kinda blocking my way into the bathroom and he stopped, looked me up and down, TOUCHED MY FUCKING NOSE, and said, "Now why the hell would you do that?"

Uh, excuse me?

I kinda laughed, thinking he wasn't serious, and said, "Haha, yeah, you and my mother should talk, you'd get along great!" buuuuut apparently he wasn't kidding. He stared at me and said, "...your mother's seen that ugly thing?" and I just said, "Uh, yeah..." and shrugged. Guy gives me a disgusted look, rolls his eyes, and walks away.

...so am I wrong in regretting not hurling my dollar tofu dog at the back of his head?? I kinda wish he had seen the tattooed chick only wearing a bikini top sitting in front of me & my friends. I know something about me might be a little bit ~unusual~, but have some fucking class.

Two Resolutions in One!

I just checked my account and as of yesterday, the 80+ dollars had been credited to my account from the fraud PLUS the 4.24 that I had spent on the book from Half.com that I never received (I posted about it here) was also credited back to my account! I'm back on the plus side of things! :)

Whew. One less thing to stress about!

eta linkage: This is the banking one and this is the half.com one.
