II don't normally do this, but the situation seems to call for it.

I made an order in September of last year for a pair of dread falls from He never sent the order out, and never changed it from Pending, even though I paid for the item the same day. I didn't mind at first because dread falls are a custom item that need to be hand made, and the website even said that the turnaround time for them was about 6 weeks. I had no problem with this and understood it perfectly when I made my order. Two months later I thought it would be a good time to ask.

Now it appears all his emails are bouncing, and he's been ignoring me and/or lying to me for 6 months about the status of my order. He told me several times that my dread falls were ready or that they would be in a few days, and to just wait, and he has promised time and again to get it sorted out or at the very least get me a refund, which he never did.

If any of you are considering buying from Jaded Dreads, don't. I don't normally do this, but I got seriously screwed over. I've been polite for six months; I'd be happy with a real response. But "we'll let you know in a couple of days" and not even apologizing, eventually turning into shit is really, really old.

Am I the only one who's been fucked over?

What the hell can I do? Turnaround time = 6 weeks, which is coincidentally the exact amount of time before I can't do a chargeback anymore. So that's not an option. All emails have bounced. Yet the website is still accepting payments on new orders! Imagine that.

Also, I ordered a pair of goggles from him about 5 months ago, which I did get, and are brilliant. So he's not all bad, but from what I've heard from other people they're still taking (e.g. charging) orders and not sending them out to anybody. NOT COOL.

I don't know if this is allowed, but it's worth a shot.

What the heck else can I do?

Note that my name isn't Archie Bunker, it's just the name used on my email account (although the Samantha is correct), and that I added Xs in certain places for privacy. Some of the emails look like clones but that's because this discourse happened both through his website and also through Myspace, where I pasted other conversations from emails to save myself time.

It is looking to me like he'll accept payments/orders but won't atually make or send the item. It's messed up!! I'm out 81 dollars for no good reason.

His whois for his domain doesn't have a phone number or anything. Ridiculous.
