just for a little background info, i work for a group of orthopaedic surgeons. this isn't usually part of my job, since we have an automated system for it, but friday afternoon, one of my coworkers asked me to call and confirm appointments for monday. ( Collapse )
these people are taking care of our elderly loved ones and troubled youths. *facepalm*
so my friend and I went to Fridays, which we go to fairly often. they have a new menu item-boneless wings. now I love boneless wings. I always wished they had them there. So I was definitely happy. The waitress was awesome, and I got my wings...luckily for me, I have a little habit of cutting boneless wings in half, even if they're small. so I'm cutting them apart, and towards the end of the plate of them, I take a bite and look at the other half of it. and the inside is not just pink, but totally raw. terrible service on the part of the kitchen.
the rest of them had been just fine, no problem, and the good service came when the waitress apologized profusely and took them off the bill(could have settled for a discount, even, or a free dessert, because it was 1 out of a lot of them.) But wow that was kind of scary. Makes me even more careful about checking chicken though-and i tend to reject chicken that's even a tiny bit pink already.
