We ordered chicken strips & fries at the ski hill. Usually it only comes with 4 strips, and that's fine, but one of the strips was no bigger than a McNugget. We asked for an extra strip.
The server came back - the owner made her tell us that the strips are portioned out "by weight" and that we got the right weight.
Firstly, if you are going to charge $10 for chicken strips and fries, you better not be too cheap to give out one for free.
Second, if you are too cheap to give out one for free, you should at least have the balls to come out and say it yourself instead of making your server do it and thereby forcing her to risk her tip.
So, my fiance and I decided to treat ourselves to a little Sonic tonight in light of the fact that the cafeteria food royally sucked. I haven't really been to Sonic before (gasp! shock!), so I wasn't really sure what to expect.
Here's what we ordered: A Sonic bacon cheeseburger (this is important) Cheese fries A chicken sammich w/ no cheese (also important) A chocolate shake A medium Sprite
Here's what we got: A "Bacon Cheeseburger" (I'll explain in a sec..) A regular burger Cheese fries Shake Sprite
.. .. okay, so. Sonic apparantly has TWO items called "bacon cheeseburger". One of them is a SONIC Bacon Cheeseburger, which is a cheeseburger w/ lettuce, tomato, mayo, and bacon. What I got was the "Bacon Cheeseburger", which is on Texas toast, has onions, an onion ring, pickles, tomato, and a hickory sauce.
The fiance rings back and tells them they got our order wrong. They bring his sandwich out post haste, but not mine! He stops the carhop and tells her that mine's still wrong, and she's like "oh.. well.. you need to call inside again."
At that point, I said screw it. The woman who took our order was nasty. I ate the "Bacon Cheeseburger" somewhat unhappily, as the hicory sauce didn't appeal.
I doubt I'll be going back to this Sonic any time soon.. they can't seem to get their orders straight after TWO tries!
