Got the exam, and was told they'd bill the insurance and send us a bill for the difference.
Three weeks later, got a bill for the full amount; they no longer take that insurance, or are no longer contracted by that insurance, or something.
We paid it, obviously, because it was a legitimate debt, but now I'm wondering: was it bad service on their part to not tell me they didn't take my insurance anymore, or was it customer suckage on my part that I didn't call the insurance company before making the appointment?
