I went to my doctor to get a prescription written for a refill on my birth control pills. The doctor wasn't sure if the brand that I was on was recalled or not, so he just gave me my prescription and I went on my merry way.
I gave my prescription to the lady at the pharmacy. She looked at my prescription, said it would be about a 10 minute wait. I was still standing at the counter when she turned to her coworker and said, "My sister was on this brand. She went to the hospital last week because she got a blood clot. This was the second clot that she got from these pills!"

And then when I got my pills, they didn't tell me that my old pills weren't available and didn't inform me that these pills were pretty much the same like the pharmacist did the last time that this happened.
I work at Dairy Queen. For example, if you come in and order a peanut buster parfait, I'm not going to turn to my coworker and tell them about how my friend got sick from eating a peanut buster parfait while you are STANDING THERE LOOKING AT ME.
*sigh*
