International e-commerce, in need of advice

October 14th I placed an order for some accessories from a company in England. Two weeks had passsed and the items had not yet arrived, so on the 30th of October I inquired to when and if the items had been shipped. They said that they actually make the itmes custom after the orders are placed, but that they did ship the items on the 25th of October. It is now a month since i placed the order, and still i have not recieved shipment. So I contacted them again to see if i get a tracking number on the package, tht perhaps the postal service lost it, or it was held up in customs. They respond by saying that they guy who runs the company broke his ribs last week and that they are back logged and have been unable to ship. They informed me that they will ship my stuff A.S.A.P. I just feel like something is very fishy, and seeing how i spent over $200 i dont want to just throw my money away. I dont know what to do though.
