Intelius

OK so backstory:
So after searching for friends of the family I'd been trying to get in touch with the for the last few years, I decided to give up and pay the roughly 3 dollars that Intelius charges for unlisted phone numbers. Successful I was happy to recommend them to mother who was also trying to get in contact with someone who fell off the radar. Unfortunately she didn't get any current enough addresses or phone numbers but thats another story entirely. The other day my husband was looking at our online banking statement and noticed a charge of  19.95 from PMIDENTITY.COM asked me about and I had no idea so I googled and found This realizing that I'd been had my husband went back through out statements and found a charge from the month before also. So I went to pmidentity's website, called their number and never actually spoke to an actual person, but was given the option to cancel my account, so I did, and then I called my bank and started a fraud investigation, which is currently in the works. Then I called my mom and warned her. Well she used a prepaid debit card to order the Intellius report, which currently doesnt have any money on it so she hasnt been charged for the pmidentity, and for some reason the automated system wont let her cancel like it let me. However when she does go to reload the card theres a chance they'll deduct the money from it so she emailed Intellius. The following is a transcript of her emails so far.:

If you want the account closed, why'd you sunscribe in the first place?  You shouldn't run around buying things you don't want.  Would you buy a toilet, take it home, install it, blow diarrhea in it, and then return it to the store?
