To the people that work at kiosks selling beauty products and spa treatments:
Stop doing the "this will make you look pretty for your boyfriend" line. And then saying "But how could a pretty girl like you not have one?"
I kind of get the conceit: make it seem like the person you're selling to must have a significant other, because they're too good-looking not to.
But honestly, it's just stupid. I don't think anyone falls for it, and it's annoying to those of us who are single.
Plus, imagine how you'd come across to someone who just got off a break-up or isn't straight. Seriously.
