So, I got a Polaroid digital camera for Christmas. More specifically, it's a  i630, 6.0 megapixel digital camera. Now, I've never had a brand spanking new camera like this before, nor has it been horribly expensive (anything over 100 bucks for me constitutes horribly expensive, lol).

So, I go to open my camera and low and behold.. the screen is broken? WTF? It's an LCD screen so it's got that gigantic droplet of lcd watery-looking goodness when it's off, and when it's on it's just.. a gigantic scrambled mess, with two cracks and.. well.. it's horrible.

We took it back to Sears, who told us under no circumstances would they take it back because I HAD OBVIOUSLY DROPPED IT.

Now, I know for a fact that -I- never dropped it, and my mother does NOT lie, so there's no way she dropped it.

Does anyone know what can be done to fix it? Should I try to take it back to Sears again and talk to someone different? The lady who we spoke to (not the original girl, the manager-person who came over I'm guessing) was horribly unhelpful and rude, as was the tech guy (who insisted we busted it, when we hadn't).. I just don't know what I'd do if I brought it back and encountered the same people!

For the record, I've got serious anxiety issues/agoraphobia, am bipolar.. me + unhelpful/rude people = bad situation.

Also- if you don't recommend taking it back to Sears, as about now I just REALLY want my money back, should I try sending it back to Polaroid? It has a warranty, I just don't know if they'd hold true to it, since the tech guy seemed insistent that -I- dropped it..

Also- I know it's been a while since Christmas, but my mother works a lot and with my issues, it's hard for me to get out of the house by myself, and I don't know how to get to Sears on my own. So, I work around her schedule.. and I take what I can get. =/
