aggravatedI go into the town's only pub after seeing their specials listed outside.
I tell them it's my first time here and I'd like to try one of their specials.
I want 1 pound of honey garlic wings (for hubby) and 1 pound of medium (for me)
In fact I asked for 1/2 pound of mine and 1 1/2 pounds for Mike.. he says they can't do that.
(Only proving my point that I'd never been before)
He makes our wings and says $20.00 please.
I said 'your sign says $6 per pound'
Oh, that's only if you eat here.. not for take out!
WTF.. don't you think he should have told me that!??
I told him at least twice that I'd never been before AND that I want the 'special' which in my opinion would be the 'special' price too.
We ended up leaving the wings there.
I was so pissed off.
