'Tis the season

When I come in and ask you if you sell gift cards, the correct answer is either "yes" or "no." It isn't to walk to the back, come back with a wrinkled $5.00 certificate (I'd asked for $10) and then tell me cash only (when you have Visa/Mastercard stickers all over the place and have a Verifone Omni 3730 next to each register.) 

Second, when I ask you why I can't pay with my Mastercard, don't immediately switch to Spanish to ask a co-worker and then proceed to have a lengthy conversation in which neither of you will make eye contact with me, and then simply hold out your hand to accept my card. If you have a cash-only policy can you please just tell me in English?
